1. Problem When you buy PDFill PDF Editor
| I lost my code due to a
computer crash. Do I need to buy the software again? |
If you bought PDFill PDF Editor in 365 days,
please look up your
code using
the exact email
when you bought PDFill.
If more than 365 days, Sorry that PDFill will not resend you the code. See
the License Agreement. But, you can get your code again if you give us

Check your email to make sure
that the address you submitted is correct. If it is correct, make sure
that your filters aren't set to block emails from

| Can I just buy one license to
use PDFill PDF Editor for both my home computer and my company computer? |
No. Your company and your
home represent two users. You need to buy a copy of the software for each of
them. |
| Where is the registration
form? |
Start PDFill PDF Editor
again, if not registered, the Blue Form will show up when you save the editing
into a new PDF. Click the button to enter the registration;

| Problem to
install PDFill with 98/Me/2000 |
Control Panel=>Folder Options=>File
Types=>SelectMSI=>Advanced=>Repair=>OK. Update Free Microsoft
Windows Installer: Click
here for Windows 98 or Me; Click
here for Windows NT 4.0 or 2000 OS. If you have msi installed but
you cannot install msi file, please read
this article to clean msi.

| Problem to
uninstall Older PDFill Versions
|
1) Install Microsoft Installer Clean Up
from here.
2) Select PDFill to clear.
3) Restart computer, then install new version of PDFill again. |
A message that a cabinet file is
corrupted and that file cabinet is required to install the program.
|
Clean all the Internet Temp Files:
1) Open Internet Explorer and click on Tools =>
Click on Internet Options
2) On the General Tab, in the middle of the screen,
click on Delete Files
3) You may also want to check the box "Delete all
offline content"
4) Click on OK and wait for the hourglass icon to stop
after it deletes the temporary internet files
5) You can now click on Delete Cookies and click OK to
delete cookies that websites have placed on your hard drive.
You may need to turn off or
uninstall Google and Yahoo Toolbars.

| Problem to install GhostScript on Vista
or Win7. |
Please disable the UAC (User Access
Control). Enter the Control Panel and type UAC in the search box. The first
result returned by the search will be User Accounts – Turn User Account Control
(UAC) on or off.
You can create an Admin account as an administrator, use this Admin account to
download and install PDFill. |
| Problem to install PDFill |
1. Please Use Administrator Account. If
Vista or Win7, disable the UAC (User Access Control). Enter the Control
Panel and type UAC in the search box. The first result returned by the search
will be User Accounts – Turn User Account Control (UAC) on or off.
2. Please uninstall all PDFill from Control Panel and Restart computer.
3. Delete registry under: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PlotSoft
4. Delete all files under C:\Program Files\PlotSoft
5. Install PDFill again from the
most updated PDFill. |

This problem may be solved by installing
the most updated GhostScript 8.64 from
ww.PDFill.com
Open your PDF file by Adobe Reader and Print it using
PDFill PDF&Image Writer to get a new PDF. Then, fill the
new PDF.

| Error Message: Unknown encryption type |
The encryption setting inside your PDF
prevents PDFill to copy or read its contents. Sorry that PDFill cannot open
that PDF.

| PDFill is slow for computer older
than Pentium II 400 or less than 128 MB memory |
Please reduce Page Resolution to 75 or
100 dpi. Select Menu Format > PDFill Options > Page
Resolution. The PDF page inside PDFill may look not so clear. But, the
saved PDF has no problem at all. |
4. Problem when editing a PDF
| When I fill form inside PDFill, the just
filled field doesn't show after I move to another field. |
Click the Refresh
Button on the view bar. If not work, please change the Font name to Arial
or Times New Roman

| Can I convert no-interactive paper form
into the interactive automatically?

No. Neither $19.99 PDFill nor $500 Adobe
Acrobat Professional can let you do that. You need to
add interactive PDF form field one by one or
type text into PDF like a typewriter. |
| How do I tie several Radio Buttons
together so that one and only one is checked and one of them is required? |
Use the same form field name for this
group of radio buttons but use different value for each button. |

NO. You can only fill texts into the
original PDF. You may need to use the
Whiteout function to cover the original text and then type text over
it.
We suggest that you keep your Word file for editing purpose. Then, you can
always convert your Word document back into PDF using
PDFill PDF Writer. |
5. Problem when Saving the editing into a new
PDF

file is saved, Error Message: Java out of Memory. |

Options=>System=>Java Memory Size=>Select 512MB or more.

Please try this first: From PDF Saving Options > Select
"Flattening" to make all the
Form Fields read-only>Apply Options.

Please note that the new PDF form
created by PDFill can be
filled and printed using Adobe Reader. But,
it cannot be saved
using Adobe Reader. The end user has to buy $19.99
PDFill PDF Editor or much more expensive Adobe Acrobat products
in order to save. If you need to collect client user information,
you can add
Submit Button to send the filled data to your web server. Please
see

example. Or, you can ask the client user to download the
included
PDF Writer
and then he can print the filled PDF into a new PDF file and email
to you. |
There is a watermark printed
on
every new PDF page after I register.

Please save your filling project
into a PFL file before you buy PDFill. After
you register
PDFill, resume the saved PFL file and save it into a new PDF.
The best way is to reopen your original PDF and fill again.
You can also reopen the original PDF inside PDFill, then Edit Menu=> Copy Edited Objects from Another Project: Copy the forms
fields or other filled PDFill objected from another project.

The text
style inside PDFill is different than that in the PDF Output.
|
Note: Adobe Reader will use its default font for PDF Commenting
Text. So, the text style inside PDFill will be different than that
inside Adobe Reader.
To exactly control the text style (font encode, font name, font size
and font style) in the PDF output , please use the
Single Line Text or
Multiple Line Text.
You can convert all the Commenting text into Multiple Line Text from
Edit Menu. |

Problem with language encoding
and font |
From PDFill Options, select
your language coding and then your desired font. You may play with several
fonts to see if it works.
If you have problem, please open a new blank PDF project, test your
language coding and font, then, save into a new PDF to see if it
works. If this works, please open your original PDF inside
adobe reader, print it into PDFill PDF Writer to get a new PDF, open
this new PDF inside PDFill. |
