New PDF Comment 2: Stamp Tool

You can apply a stamping to a PDF in the same way you apply a rubber stamp to a paper document.  When working in a team, the stamping gives you a quick and simple way of indicating the status of the document in review.  When opened, they display a pop-up window containing the text or image of the associated note.  You can save a Stamp Object as a name so that you can reuse it later for other PDFill projects.

You can choose from a list of stamps.

1. Steps on how to create a Stamp Comment  to your PDF file:

1. Sign Here Stamps:
Witness, Initial Here, Sign Here, Accepted and Rejected.

2. Standard Business Stamps:
Approved, Not Approved, Draft, Final, Completed, Confidential,  For Public Release, Not For Public Release, For Comment, Void, Preliminary Results, and Information Only.
3. Dynamic Stamps:
Revised, Reviewed, Received, Approved, Confidential and Custom Text Stamp
4. Image Stamps: Image from File or from Clipboard  
5. Use Saved Objects

Here is the list of the properties.

Text String the content text string to be displayed for the annotation.
Spell Checker Verify the spelling of words in the text string box.
Author The author of the annotation.
Subject Text representing a short description of the subject being addressed by the annotation.
Note Color The color for the popup note.
Printable on PDF If clear, it will display and not print onto the page; If set, it will display and print onto the page.
Opacity The constant opacity value to be used in painting the annotation. This value applies to all visible elements of the annotation in its closed state (including its background and border) but not to the popup window that appears when the annotation is opened. The opacity vary from 0.0 (no contribution) to 1.0 (maximum contribution).
Rotate The rotation degree from 3 clock relative to the shape center.
Stamp Type You can choose from a list of predefined stamps: Sign Here Stamps, Standard Business Stamps and Dynamic Stamps.
Stamp Option

Sign Here Stamps: Witness, Initial Here, Sign Here, Accepted and Rejected.
Standard Business Stamps:
Approved, Not Approved, Draft, Final, Completed, Confidential,  For Public Release, Not For Public Release, For Comment, Void, Preliminary Results, and Information Only.
Dynamic Stamps:
Revised, Reviewed, Received, Approved, Confidential and Custom Text Stamp.

Use the date and user when the PDF is opened This is only for Dynamic Stamp: When the PDF is opened for review, the current date and the computer user name will be used for the stamp.
First String The first line of text shown on the stamp.
Second String The second line of text shown on the stamp.
Font  Font Encode, Font Name, Font Style, and Font Color
Border Color The border Color of the Custom Stamp
Fill Color The Fill Color of the Custom Stamp
Border Width The border Width of the Custom Stamp
Align Text Alignment inside Stamp
Position (Left, Right, Top, Bottom) The X and Y coordinate of the box to define the position of the field.
Set this field as default If set, the new object will have the same properties as this one.
Copy this object to all other pages This object will be copied to all the other PDF pages.
Save this as Save this Stamp Object as a name so that you can reuse it later for other PDFill projects.

Properties for Image Stamps:

Here is the list of the properties for Image Stamps:

Transparency The overall Transparency of the image
Make it Transparent Convert the selected image into a transparent image
Blend Mode 12 Image Color Blend Modes. Save into a new PDF to see effect.
Save this as: Save this Stamp Object as a name so that you can reuse it later for other PDFill projects.
Copy this object to all other pages This object will be copied to all the other PDF pages.
