New PDF Comment 4: Highlight Tool

PDF Comment's Highlight Tool can highlight sections of PDF document with Notes. This highlighting feature helps organize notes and makes it easier to find important information inside a lengthy PDF document. You can change the look of PDF Highlight (shape, printable, color, opacity, border color and style and so on). When opened, they display a pop-up window containing the text of the associated note to explain each highlight in more detail.

PDF Comment's Highlight Tool is similar to PDF Filler's Highlight function and PDF Ink's Highlighter function. This Highlight Tool creates comment with Note.

Here is the list of the properties.

Text String the content text string to be displayed for the annotation.
Spell Checker Verify the spelling of words in the text string box.
Author The author of the annotation.
Subject Text representing a short description of the subject being addressed by the annotation.
Style Rectangle, Oval, Round, Cross-Out, Underline, Squiggly
Printable on PDF If clear, it will display and not print onto the page; If set, it will display and print onto the page.
Opacity The constant opacity value to be used in painting the annotation. This value applies to all visible elements of the annotation in its closed state (including its background and border) but not to the popup window that appears when the annotation is opened. The opacity vary from 0.0 (no contribution) to 1.0 (maximum contribution).
Hide Highlight Property Dialog If checked, this property dialog will be hidden
Highlight Color The default color for Highlight is Yellow
Show Border and Border Width Flag to show Border and the line thickness of the border
Border Color The color for the border

Position (Left, Right, Top, Bottom)

The X and Y coordinate of the box to define the position of the field

Blend Mode The default for Highlight is Multiply Mode

Set this field as default

If set, the new object will have the same properties as this one
